In the thesis the development state of the problem under research is studied in the pedagogical theory; the essence of the phenomenon "senior preschoolers' scientific and practical mastery of natural and object environment" is cleared up. Methodological approaches to senior preschoolers' scientific and practical mastery of natural and object environment are substantiated. The criteria, indicators and levels of preschoolers' scientific and practical mastery of natural and object environment are defined and characterized. The didactical principles, stages, contents, forms and methods of preschoolers' scientific and practical mastery of natural and object environment are revealed and reflected in the structural and functional model. Psychological and pedagogical conditions for senior preschoolers' scientific and practical mastery of natural and object environment are revealed. The methods of senior preschoolers' scientific and practical mastery of natural and object environment is aprobated, implemented according to the experimental structural and functional model.
