Rasputina L. Chronic obstructive disease of lung for patients with a concomitant essential hypertension: features of clinical symptoms and treatment

Study subject: chronic obstructive lung disease; goal of the study - to increase the efficacy of diagnostics and treatment of patients with chronic obstructive lung disease and concomitant arterial hypertension, to identify clinical signs attributable to a combination of these diseases, and to establish the optimal treatment regimen taking into account pharmacoeconomic and quality of life parameters; methods of the study: clinical, laboratory, functional, sociological, and statistical; novelty: we first ever established the incidence of combined course of chronic obstructive lung disease and concomitant hypertension in patients admitted to clinical hospitals, defined clinical and functional features of the disease in this clinical environment, and substantiated the role of a number of pathogenic mechanisms in formation of the pathological process in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and concurrent hypertension, proved the role of basic therapy of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in efficacy of antihypertensive medicines, developed the criteria for selecting effective and safe antihypertensive medicines for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on the grounds of assessment of clinical efficacy predictors.
