Pokanevych T. Congenital Pathology Medical Load as One of the Barriers on the Way to the Population Health Stable Development

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of congenital malformations accumulation among the population of Ukraine under the modern medical care system. Systems approach was used in the dissertation; it included literature saucers analysis, calculation of frequency, structure and risk of congenital malformations among born alive, estimation of children's disablement risk and children's mortality (0-17 years old) due to congenital malformations, calculation of reproductive losses frequency. Systems approach allowed determining natural selection efficacy during the period from the conception to reproductive age and estimation of congenital malformations accumulation among the population of Ukraine under the modern medical care system and medical technologies. Some possibilities of improving of medical and genetic care in Ukraine were shown for decreasing of congenital diseases burden.
