Afanasiev O. The public geographical basis of the regional nature use: theory and methodology (on the example of South-Eastern Ukraine)

Object - the chorological and chronological processes of regional natural use. The goal - development of theoretical, methodological and practical basics of socio-geographical study of regional nature use as stadial evolution of regional anthroposphere South-Eastern Ukraine. Methods - spatiotemporal analysis, comparison, classification, modeling, geo-information, system-functional, zoning. In the dissertation the theoretical, methodological and methodical basis of social and geographical analysis of regional nature use systems are developed, the scientific ideas evolution and scientist's contributions are considered. The concept of the nature use as the moving mechanism for regional anthropospherogenesis, which have the main object of study - the system "Human - Nature" is formulated. Stages of formation of scientific geographical knowledge about nature use are identified, the development of Ukrainian school of natural use considered. Separateness geohistorical region South-Eastern Ukraine substantiated, stage process of nature use in its territory investigated. An optimization proposal and intensify certain modern forms of nature use in key areas of the region have developed. Scope of application: use in researches of regional nature use in other regions, in compiling complex regional geographical atlases, use for purposes of educational process in higher education institutions.
