The thesis presents social and geographic foundations of human space studying (Euсumene) which makes a conceptual object of geosophy. The latter is an adjacent scientific discipline that developed at the border of geography and philosophy. The theoretical and methodological grounds of geosophic studies have been worked out, a geosophic approach in social geography has been grounded.
