Object of research: ecologically relevant behavior. The objective of study is the theoretical substantiation and empirical test of the conception of meaning regulation of ecologically relevant behavior which is considered in a context of global anthropogenic environmental changes. Research methods: conceptual modeling on the basis of the analysis of environmental discourse, the scientific analysis, generalization and systematization of theoretical approaches and the results of empirical studies corresponding to problem of research; systematic observation, the standardized questionnaires, the content-analysis, the game modeling, the focus group, the experiment, psychodiagnostic methods; parametric and non-parametric tests for comparing the means, cross-tabulations statistics, correlation methods, multiple regression, analysis of variance, cluster analysis, factor analysis, multidimensional scaling, structural equation modeling (SEPATH) analysis. Results, novelty: it is realized synergetic approach to the analysis of meaning regulation system of subject activity and the synergetic conception of meaning regulation of ecologically relevant behavior, for the first time the concept of person’s ecological position being by control parameter for the system of meaning regulation of ecologically relevant behavior is entered. The structural dynamic model of socio cultural regulation for processes of life-support in the modern society causing growth of anthropogenic environmental threats is developed. Various patterns of meaning of the global ecological changes determined by an ecological position of person are revealed. Transformations of subjective meaning of ecologically relevant actions, which are caused by ecological risk-reflection and shown in amplification the ecological contents for semantic construct of anxieties on the future and in reassessment of current social norms, are found out. Ambiguous changes in subjective meaning of a problem of the global environmental changes, caused by deterioration of the macroeconomic situation are revealed. Use sphere: environmental education and social marketing, namely development of strategy of environmental education, development and testing of efficiency of environmentally educational technologies, vocational training of experts in the field of ecological management, development and realization of social programs to promote environmentally responsible behavior, ecologically social advertising; studying of ecological attitudes of the person.
