Object - social adaptation of persons with disabilities; the goal is to increase the efficiency of the social adaptation programs and the process of education of students with disabilities using a science-based technology introduction and methodological framework for the application of means and methods of physical rehabilitation; methods of analysis and generalization of information, scientific, methodical and special literature; sociological methods; educational; psychophysiological; biomedical: instrumental, functional, biochemical; statistics; novelty: for the first time determined the role and place of physical rehabilitation in the General structure of social adaptation of students with disabilities, theoretically proved and developed methodological approaches on the use of physical rehabilitation in the individual rehabilitation programs for students with spastic or flaccid paresis, and paralysis. First introduced ранжувальне evaluation of functional class degree of the movement of students with spastic or flaccid paresis, and paralysis. It was first demonstrated that the use of the "International nomenclature disorders, disability and social inadequacy" and "International classification of functioning, disability and health" is an important diagnostic criterion for determining the functional reserves of the organism of students with disabilities, their level of activity and participation in the life of society, assessment of the effectiveness of the programmes of medical-social adaptation; results - on the basis of application of the recommended set of criteria proved the effectiveness of targeted and phased, differentiated use of means and methods of physical rehabilitation in the individual rehabilitation programs for students with disabilities (consequences spastic and flaccid paresis and paralysis) during training, which reliably confirmed quality of life improvement, normalization of the postural and локомоторных violations, optimization of the amplitude of mobility in joints, improve posture and movements, employment and integration into society; branch of physical education and sport.
