Essay

As a result of complex (anamnestic, clinical, psychopathological, psychodiagnostic and catamnestic) researches the following is established. The short course of antidepressive therapy in the beginning of rehabilitation process (cytalopram 40 mg per day during first three months) essentially raises level of compliance and, accordingly, strengthens adherence opioid addicted patients to rehabilitation. The increase term of stay of patients in within the borders of the treatment-and-prophylactic program favorably influences: on their ability to abstain from the use of drugs; on their social functioning (employment) and on their quality of life in the postrehabilitation period.
