The dissertation is devoted to the working out and grounding of the theoretical and methodological foundations and practical recommendations concerning the improvement and development of the energy security in the system of economic security. The theoretical basic principles of energy security considering its features are researched and the energy security paradigm formation in the system of state economic security is proposed in dissertation. The system of indicators for formation energy security weighted estimation and detection are developed and validated. The method classification of energy security forecasting level identifying the necessity for potential energy security system estimates as well individually as part of state economic security valuation is improved. Formation and the current condition of energy security in state economic security are analyzed. It is evaluated securing and implementation of energy security of Ukraine. Mechanisms of optimization of energy security development for economic security support are proposed. Position of alternative and renewable energy sources in energy security is disclosed. It includes their implementation consider local economic and environmental efficiency. Comprehensive range of proposals for energy security development strategy of Ukraine is developed in the dissertation.
