The author of the dissertation observes the genesis of the axiological ideas in the philosophical and educational thought and determines the impact of the ideological, philosophical, cultural and scientific factors in their formation and development in the national educational environment of the nineteenth - first third of the twentieth century. The evolution of the axiological ideas in the scientific and educational thought of the nineteenth - first third of the twentieth century is analyzed in the manuscript, their periodization is worked out and applied aspects of the axiological ideas in the national education during that period is examined. The author also defines key trends and patterns of the development of the pedagogical axiology in the national educational space and motivates the possibility of using of its achievements in the present.
