Shulga L. Scientific substantiation of composition and technology of herbal remedies for preventive dentistry.

The dissertation is devoted to development of methodological approaches of composition and technology of herbal remedies for preventive dentistry. The model of creation of dental medicines of different dosage forms had been improved, approaches and directions of the research had been generalized which were used in developing of tincture, mixtures and medical pencils. By the complex of studies the assortment of drugs plant objects was confirmed as well as the compositions of such medicine as tincture «Casdent», mixtures «Antiallergic» and «Gerbostom», medical pencils with dense сhlorophyllipt extract «Dentastil» were defined. The pharmacopeial article of «Medical pencils» has been draft. Fabrication techniques were worked out for tincture «Casdent» and mixtures «Antiallergic» and «Gerbostom» (registered as «Broncholytic mixture» – registration certificate No UA/12873/01/01, producer OJSC «Lubnypharm», Ukraine) industrially, and for medical pencils «Dentastil» under drug-store conditions. Stability and multivalent action of the developed herbal remedies were proved and their physicochemical properties were defined.
