Essay

The dissertation thesis presents new data on studying the epizootological features, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and pathological anatomic changes at Chlamydiosis of domestic, exotic, synathropic and wild mammals and birds on the basis of the performed epizootological monitoring in the separate regions of Ukraine and the results of laboratory experiments on artificial reproduction of Chlamydiosis on gnotobiotic piglets, white rats and chicken. The scope of Chlamydial infection spreading has been determined, the specific ratio of Chlamydiae among different species of mammals and birds has been clarified. The PCR test-systems have been developed for indication and specific differentiation of the Chlamydia genus agents. The efficient system of treating the Chlamydial infections in animals has been developed, approbated and implemented into thr veterinary medicine practice..
