The object is paradigmal images and symbols in transformational processes of epochs and civilizations in the context of basic problems of philosophy of history. The aim is to study the place and role of paradigmal images and symbols in transformational processes of epochs and civilizations as categories of philosophy of history, to define their potential and measure of the demand. The methods are historical and comparative principles, integration and system approaches. The dissertation research is the first special and systematic scientific work about the problem of paradigmal images and symbols in transformational processes of epochs and civilizations, the revealing of their most important significance in the context of the basic problems of the philosophy of history, the phenomenon of structural transformations of the paradigmal images and symbols as the regulators of the social development; the determination of the structural and system methodological and ideological bases of the development of historical discourse of display of paradigmal images and symbols in the system of conceptual and categorical apparatus of the philosophy of history; the revealing of the place and role and also their potential of the demand. In the work determined the specificity of the paradigmal images and symbols of epochs and civilizations in the context of basic problems of the philosophy of history, structural transformations of paradigmal images and symbols as the regulators of the social activity, is revealed the place and the role of paradigmal images and symbols of the epochs and civilizations as the categories of the philosophy of history. The author characterizes the factors mentioned above, reconstructs theoretical and methodological base and the content of the problem field of the research and the results of scientific significance.
