Essay

The aim of the thesis is to highlight the causes and deployment of in-depth restructuring of the crisis in the political and economic complex core western regions of the USSR at the turn of the 80-90s of the twentieth century. Object is a structure of the Communist Party of the western regions of the Ukrainian SSR, who formed the core of the Soviet political system in the region delineated chronological period. The methodological basis of the thesis consists principles of historicism and objectivism with a focus on problem-chronological, comparative historical, and other methods.
