Mironova I. Formation and development of Post and Post-telegraph Institutions on the South of Ukraine (last quarter of the XVIIIth – beginning of the XXth century)

Object: postal and telegraph industry in South Ukraine last quarter of the XVIII - beginning of XX century. Purpose: historical reconstruction of the process of formation, development of postal and telegraph offices, and identifying regional peculiarities of their activities in southern Ukraine. Methods: scientific, especially historical. The dissertation is the first research that examines the history of the postal and telegraph offices in South Ukraine. The process of incorporation postal institutions of southern Ukraine to the general state communication system of the Russian Empire is investigated. The role of the communication institutions in the formation of cultural and information space of southern Ukraine was determined. Sphere: the learning process.
