Khrutba V. Methodological Bases of Environmental Project and Programme Management

The thesis is devoted to the development of conceptual regulations, methods and models as the basis of the methodology for environmental project and programme management. Environmental projects and programmes are designed to overcome the effects of anthropogenic influence of economic or project activities on the environment. They provide a direct improvement in the quality of the environment through environmentally responsible project and programme management in social, organizational and technical systems. The essence of environmental project and programme management was disclosed. The developed bases of the methodology for environmental project and programme management include the definitions of key terms and concepts, the concept development of methodology, the creation of the basic models for environmental project and programme management in order to introduce an effective mechanism for managing environmental projects and programmes through the implementation of environmentally responsible management. The management methods for subject groups of environmental projects were improved. A method for controlling the state of the environment was developed. It describes the activities to save the environment within the project. Models, methods and criteria for evaluation of environmental projects and programmes were developed as the only basis for making decisions on the effectiveness of projects and programmes, or for choosing the project from the project portfolio. Methodological bases for environmental project and programme management were applied in the form of individual models, methods and creative templates for solving the problem of waste generation in social, organizational and technical systems. The proposed approaches, models and methods were implemented to manage the individual environmental projects and programmes of waste management. The developed models, methods and creative templates were used for environmental project and programme management in order to implement environmental projects of various business entities.
