The division into the periods of the theory and the practice's development of the folklore study in the Ukrainian classic universities of the second half of the ХІХ - the beginning of ХХІ centuries on the background of the synthesis of the three main aspects: cultural-historical context of the definite period; peculiarities of the content, methods and forms of the folklore's researches in the conditions of the classic universities; scientific-theoretical and practical achievements of the lecturers was grounded. The specificity of the preparation of the future folklore teachers, folklorists in the Ukrainian classic universities, which is developed with taking into account the progressive achievements of the historical-pedagogical experience of the folklore's study, is grounded on the interaction of its components (educative-cognitive, scientific-research, practical and bringing-up) and is directed on the formation of the folklore's competent future specialist was defined.
