Malchykova D. Methodological and methodic principals of rural geo-planning on the regional level

This thesis focuses on the theoretical, methodological and methodic principals of rural geo-planning on the regional level, where the basic elements of hierarchal and multicomponent system of Ukraine territorial planning were presented. In the context of modern social transformations and searching of new territorial usage strategy there was undertaken the social and geographical analysis of rural areas as an object of geo-planning. The dissertation presents the following results of elaboration: the social and geographical conceptualization, methodological and methodic basis of rural geo-planning; general methodological approaches and objective geo-planning; orientational methods and approaches of territorial geo-planning analysis and typological analysis of geospatial connection of different natural usage types; mechanisms of environmental control and formation of ecological safety frame in the schemes of rural territories geo-planning. Separate approaches and methods in geo-planning needs were approbated on the case study of Kherson and Odessa oblasts. The social and geographical basics of rural geo-planning with different strategies of social and economical development were defined. There was developed the taxonomy of regional levels and forms in geo-planning management of rural areas. The specifics of rural geo-planning in the context of regional politics development and formation of priority approaches in using of rural territory were shown.
