Bohdanets-Biloskalenko N. Еducational and cultural and educational activities J.Ph. Chipiga in the context of historical and pedagogical process in Ukraine (the last of ХІХ - early of ХХ century)

The paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the educational and cultural and educational heritage of the known, but partially forgotten during Soviet period, Ukrainian scientist, educator Jakiv Pheophanovich Chepiga (1875–1938). Main periods and stages of education and cultural and educational activities J. Ph. Chipiga are defined and scientifically grounded, the author also characterized the main directions of educational, cultural and scientific educational activities (educational, organizational, pedagogical, methodological, educational teaching, research), an important contribution of J. Ph. Chipiga to pedagogy, psychology, pedology, adult education, textbooks and others are presented in the thesis.The thesis presents a problem historiography research unknown educational and cultural influence of historical transformation of society in the formation of personality J. Ph. Chipiga. The cultural and educational and pedagogical heritage J. Ph. Chipiga is investigated partly, fragmentary, but problems of theoretical analysis, systematization and generalization of cultural, historical, educational achievements of the scientist is the perspective for other scientific investigation.
