Kutsenko S. Scientific substantiation of composition and technology of medicines for complex therapy of varicosity of veins

The thesis is devoted to substantiation of methodological approach to the development of composition and technology of new medicines for the treatment of varicose veins using the methods of mathematical planning of experiment and mathematical models. For the first time it was theoretically and experimentally grounded the composition and technology of new tincture "Venoton", which contains a combination of biologically active substances extracted from 7 types of herbal raw materials and the composition and the technology of capsules and gel based on it. Complex pharmaco-technological, physicochemical, biopharmaceutical, biological and mathematical researches were used to ground: optimal mode of plant extraction; choosing of excipirnts that ensure preparing quality masses for encapsulation, choice of bese and other auxiliary substances (thickeners, hydrophilic non-aqueous solvents, preservatives, etc.) providing the required properties of the gel; technological parameters, manufacturing of complex tincture "Venoton", capsules "Venoton-cap" and gel "Venoton". The properties of developed drugs were studied, the method of their quality control were proposed and the conditions as well as the shelf life were indicated.
