Zamkova N. Multilingualism in Ukraine in the in Context of European Globalization

The role and functions of the power in the organization of the cross-language relationship scenarios, historic genesis and evolution of these scenarios in different types of society and different centuries have been identified on the basis of complex cross-language relationship and cross-language communications analysis; cross-language relationship scenarios typology has been formed. Special attention has been paid to cross-language relationship in the national states, as well as to the role of the definite national project in the organization of these relationship; difference between ethno-centralized states of Eastern Europe, with diglossia scenario dominating, and Western states, with the tendencies to forming the political nation and bilingual scenario dominating.
