Prepotens'ka M. Нuman being in metropolis (social, cultural and existential dimensions)

The dissertation produces an innovative methodological approach to the analysis of human being in metropolis in line with the social philosophy, philosophical anthropology, metaantropology, sociology, anthropology of city, semiotics and postmodern paradigm that is called"integrated social philosophy of metropolis". On the basis of this method the metropolis is defined as a multidimensional sociocultural phenomenon (social body, a social process, semiotic palimpsest, artifact, anthropomorphic personality), and the metropolis person is represented in socio-cultural multidimensionality of his existence, which socially operates in the circle of urban challenges, survives or get used in city on the basis of existential modes of Inhabitant, Seeker, and the Creator.
