Essay

The thesis is devoted to scientific substantiation and development of methods to intensify the processes of membrane micro- and ultrafiltration and adsorption purification of natural water in compact plants by using centrifuged devices. The following results were obtained in the work: the mathematical model of the process of sedimentation of suspended particles in the clarifying centrifuge with cylindrical inserts, which takes into account the different conditions of supply and drainage of water was improved; the mathematical model of process of micro-, ultrafiltration through a membrane barrier, which takes into account the pre-treatment of water on the clarifying centrifuges and the impact of the pump plant characteristics was improved; the design of the centrifugal adsorber and a mathematical model of its work were developed; conducted theoretical and experimental studies that allowed to improve the design of the centrifuge devices and to determine the rational parameters of the components of the compact purification plants (clarifying centrifuges, modules of membrane micro- and ultrafiltration, centrifugal adsorbers) and also to develop recommendations for their design and joint exploitation. The results of these studies and the developed recommendations are used and accepted for implementation on communal companies and design organizations.
