Essay

The object - a process of training primary school teachers in higher pedagogic educational institutions; the objective is a substantiation of theoretic and methodical fundamentals, development and experimental verification of a model of training primary school teachers to design e-learning resources; the methods are theoretic, empirical and statistical; originality - the research is the first to develop a model of training primary school teachers to design e-learning resources; didactic and methodological support for the mentioned model has been developed; the structural components for readiness of prospective primary school teachers for designing e-learning resources have been defined and theoretically reasoned; the criteria, the indicators, the diagnostic instrument for determination of prospective primary school teachers readiness level for designing e-learning resources have been developed; the functions of e-learning resources for primary school pupils have been defined, theoretically reasoned and systematized; there are clarified theoretic and methodological fundamentals of primary school teacher training for design e-learning resources; the concept of a e-learning resources, its specifics for a primary school as a subject of designing; the range of requirements for the mentioned resources; the technique of their designing for a primary school have been specified; the theory of acquired learning tools as the aspect of didactics has received further development, including classification of didactic means for their role in the educational process; the results - a model of training of prospective primary school teachers for designing e-learning resources was experimentally verified and is ready for implementation in the educational process and can be adapted for a training of prospective teachers of other specialties for the mentioned designing activity. Didactic and methodological support was reflected in the published monographs, articles as well as the training manuals, training and reference books for prospective primary school teachers, training publications for juniors. The practical results of the research can be used by scholars, teachers, methodologists when teaching pedagogic, methodical disciplines as well as the disciplines of information science at the departments of primary education in higher pedagogic educational institutions, also can be used when preparing special courses, text-books, educational materials and recommendations, designing e-learning resources, when writing courseworks, graduate works, works for master's degree holders, also results can be used in distance and post-graduate pedagogic education.
