Balashova G. Scientific basis of potato seeding in the south of Ukraine

Object of study – The culture of apical meristems and organs in vitro, seed potatoes in the south of Ukraine. Aim – to substantiate and develop the basics of seed potatoes to the south irrigation conditions in Ukraine by establishing a starting material, the resulting combination of biotechnological methods for recovery and the two-harvest method followed by its field reproduction. Methods – laboratory, field, mathematical-statistical, computational and comparative, abstract logic and system analysis. In the process of creating the starting material biotechnology recovery methods were used (thermo- and chemotherapy, apical meristem). Results – developed and recommended the production of potato seed system for the south of Ukraine, based on the unique combination of biotechnological methods the starting material recovery and his future field of reproduction for two-harvest cultivation. Novelty – first established features of clonal micropropagation and improvement of seed potato material using a variety of instructional techniques; the first time for the conditions of the south of Ukraine developed a three-year and short a year and a half scheme reproduction elite potato using biotechnology and two-harvest cultivation. The scientific value – defined the optimal factors of influence on potato productional process that will reduce the environmental degeneracy pressure on the plants in the south of Ukraine for irrigation; established correlation-regression model based factors influence the induction of tuber potato plants in the culture of meristems in vitro.
