Essay

The thesis analyzes the background of formation of information environment of higher education under the influence of processes of informatization and globalization society, European integration of higher school of Ukraine, for example the introduction of modern information and communication technologies, the features of informatization of educational and scientific processes of the higher school, the theoretical and methodological basis of formation of methods and criteria for assessing the quality, updating training content. The basic directions of development of information resources that contributed to the modernization of vocational training, examines the main components of information educational environment, its role with regard to increasing the quality of educational services and the improvement of the management system, the establishment and operation of the software «E-University», its components, advantages and disadvantages. Analyzes the characteristics of distance learning, the conditions of its origin, the first steps of implementation and development trends, taking into account the supporters of distance learning in different countries, predictions are made about its future. Special attention is paid to the evolution of development and revitalization of higher education on the basis of information technology, quality assurance, providing adequate educational environment of a higher adequate information culture in General and the needs of the individual, as a person's readiness to the development of the global information space.
