Kaluha V. Identity and self-identity as socio-cultural phenomena of human entity: gender and existential perspectives

The admission work is aimed at studying such phenomena as human identity and self-identity in the context of one's social entity to reveal profound causesof existential tension common among civilized people and searching for efficient means to overcome intrinsic conflicts caused by an opposition of self-perceiving and self-reflecting of oneself.In order to gain competence of comprehension of identity and self-identity a reference to gender, socio-cultural and existential perspectives of the afore-mentioned concepts of social entity has been applied. The approach reinforces to find out a sequence of formation and refinement of one's identity starting with natural features and characteristics, socio-cultural habits and skills have been taken into account.
