Object - the process of professional training of future teachers at higher pedagogical educational establishments; the aim - to substantiate the theoretical and methodological principles of prospective teachers' voice culture forming, work out and experimentally test the efficiency of the technology of prospective teachers' voice culture forming within the process of professional training; methods - theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics; novelty - the research is the first to introduce and define the meaning of the term "prospective teachers' voice culture", theoretically substantiate the structure of voice culture; theoretically substantiate and experimentally check the efficiency of the technology of prospective teachers' voice culture forming; the integrated knowledge and skills that teachers have to acquire to be able to efficiently, correctly and safely use their voice apparatus in their professional activity are singled out; the consequences of nonprofessional use of one's voice apparatus are analysed and classified; the term "teacher's individual voice apparatus medicine chest" is studied and analysed; the specific aspects of professional activities of teachers of different subjects are researched and the factors causing negative influence and leading to problems with voice apparatus are investigated and recommendations are given on how to lessen the likely negative influence and avoid it; the system of criteria, indices and levels of prospective teachers' level of voice culture formation is studied; the definition of the term "voice" has acquired further investigation on the basis of the data concerning its understanding by representatives of different sciences; results - the technology of prospective teachers' voice culture forming has been substantiated and experimentally tested; the teaching complex "Teacher's Voice Culture Forming" has been compiled. The teaching courses developed by the author "Voice Culture Forming in Future Kindergarten Teachers" (for first year students) and "Voice Culture Forming in Future Specialists" (for fifth year students) have been offered to students and proved their efficiency. The investigated technology of prospective teachers' voice culture forming can be adapted to the process of training professionals of different specialities. The monograph and teaching manuals will be helpful to those engaged in the teaching process at higher educational establishments; field - pedagogy.
