Vyzdryk V. Socio-economic and socio-political processes in the Galician village (1919-1939)

Object: Galician village in the interwar period of the XX century. Objective: comprehensive analysis of the evolution of socio-economic processes in the Galician countryside, highlighting of cultural-educational and spiritual life of farmers. Methods: epistemological analysis, system analysis, historical and comparative, problem-chronological, systematic and structural, statistical and analytical, multivariate analysis. Results: for the first time socio-political and socio-economic processes studied in complex, the main conceptual directions of Polish agricultural policy in Galicia are determined, social and political activities of Ukrainian and Polish parties in the field of agriculture and their role in shaping of the outlook of the peasantry is studied, the peculiarities of functioning of local government in Galician village are highlighted, transformation of the system of land use is determined, the influence of external factors on the government's agricultural policy in the region is showed, improved analysis of national and social composition of the Galician population, characteristics of cultural and educational sphere of Galician village. Scope of application: for writing of generalizing works on the history of Ukraine and Poland, economic history, political parties, local government, everyday and cultural-educational life of Galician village, preparation of training courses in higher educational establishments and also in the development of national concept and regional concepts of development of agrarian sector of Ukraine today.
