Kovtun N. Will as the basis of social activity: social and philosophical analysis

The thesis is devoted to conceptualization of will as a social phenomenon, research of will basis of social activity as well as individual one. In the thesis on the basis of social and philosophical approach complex analysis of will as the basis of social activity is made, its contents, structure and intensity are revealed within wide context of political, legal, moral transformations of society in the era of globalization. Will is considered to be integrated active quality of a person or social group aimed at social reality transformation. Volitional principles of social activity are analyzed in the context will of a person, personality, social group, social community, society in general. Alongside wit it social apathy is researched as a state of will absence, indifference, social and psychological passivity of a person and social group to the phenomena of social reality. In the thesis in the context of the analysis of intentionality and compliance phenomena correlation between rational and volitional principles of social activity is made, irrational principles of will activity manipulation are revealed, relationship between volitional and emotional factors in the process of social conscience manipulation is traced, the interdependence of social will expression and the amount of social responsibility of a person and society is stated, peculiarities of will expression of social activity subjects in different spheres of human being (political, legal, moral) as well as in the sphere of art are researched.
