Essay

This thesis analyzed the first time the neоtraditionalism as the complete socio-cultural phenomenon. The key concepts of the research, as "traditionalism", "neotraditionalism", "neomythologism", "neofolklorism" and other related category with them, as well as the place of the tradition and innovation in the modern society are clarified. The relationship of the tradition and innovation in the context of the modern scientific knowledge is substantiated. The article provides conceptualization of patterns, particularities and factors of new traditionalism as a holistic Ukrainian socio-cultural phenomenon, which is an objective ideological counterweight to modern, unified and globalized trends in the modern world.
