Essay

Avian mycoplasmosis distribution among poultry (chickens and geese) was established. Clinical and pathological anatomy characteristics of the disease, infection sensibility of different sex, age and productive groups, the character of a disease current were studied. Composition and characteristics of specific bacterial associants were identified. The presence of pathogen natural reservoirs in decorative and wild birds was shown. The reproductive properties of Mycoplasma gallisepticum in the solid and liquid nutrient media, and on the cell cultures were studied. Sensitivity of Mycoplasma gallisepticum cultures to antibiotics, plant extracts, low temperature and freeze drying was determined. The pathogenesis, immune response, especially the of cellular and humoral immunity formation in chickens in the experimental infection of Mycoplasma gallisepticum were studied. The manufacturing technology of inactivated vaccine against avian mycoplasmosis was developed and tested in laboratory and field conditions.
