Essay

The thesis is devoted to the determination of morphological signs of compensatory and adaptive changes in rat adrenal cortex after thermal skin burn and in the case of the use of combined hyperosmolar solutions (lactoprotein with sorbitol and HAES-LX-5 %). The comparative analysis of the effect of 0.9 % NaCl solution and combined hyperosmolar solutions demonstrates objective benefits of protective and therapeutic effects of the last in the case of the studied correction of the skin thermal burn outcomes. Intravenous infusion of lactoprotein with sorbitol and HAES-LX-5 % to rats with experimental second and third degree skin burns (21-23 % of the total body surface area) is associated with the decrease of endogenous intoxication indices, with positive effects on macroscopic, histological, ultrastructural and morphometric aspects of compensatory and adaptive responses. It optimizes cell cycle indices (SUB-G0G1, S-phase, G2+М phase) of DNA fragmentation (SUB-G0G1 interval) after 1, 3, 7, 14, 21 and 30 days of observation. The results of the thesis revealed peculiarities of the positive impact of lactoprotein with sorbitol and HAES-LX-5% on morphological and functional state of adrenal cortex after skin burns. The abovementioned results may be-come the theoretical basis for the development of pathogenically reasonable method of correcting negative effects of the severe thermal injury.
