Essay

The dissertation paper summarizes the results of a comprehensive study of the theory and practice of social workers training at universities in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden). A set of factors contributing to the professionalism of social workers in the Nordic countries and to the establishment and development of special training in higher education institutions has been analyzed. It has been determined that the interaction of social policy and social work and their characteristics at certain stages of historical development have played the primary role.
