The author investigates the genesis of satiric publicism of Naddniprianschyna as a factor of communicative activity, means of socialization and the method of social communication of people. The historiographic studies of satirically-publicistic segment of journalism of Naddniprianschyna is presented - from pre-conditions to formation and modification under the influence of social-economic, political, cultural and educational, philosophical factors, with its sources outlined and characterized (folklore; works of wandering poets, mainly schoolchildren and deacons; theatricalized forms such as school drama and puppet show of the Nativity; satiric literature).
