Essay

A conceptual approach to the solution of the scientific problem of conceptualizing the socio-pedagogical bases of modern family education in interdisciplinary research is proposed. Conceptualization as a methodology is substantiated for the holistic study of contemporary family education as a socio-pedagogical phenomenon in the period from the end of the 80ies of XX century and early XXI century.Basic theoretical positions of the study are clarified in the understanding of family education as a type to the basic concept "education", which has a specific character that reflects its intimate subject-subject, poly-subject, multi-cultural, subcultural and multi-factoral character determined by the lifestyle of the family, the type of family environment and family values. Socio-pedagogical foundations of family education are identified in their essential characteristics and are represented in the following basic concepts: philosophical-anthropological, axiological, psychological and educational, subcultural, gender, socio-economic and socio-legal.
