The thesis is devoted to complex research in Ukrainian historical, social and communicative discourse of national identification practices that were discussed in the context of information and communication activities of Ukrainian post-war emigration (1945-1991), and in terms of self-organization emigration facilitated communication and the consolidation of the Ukrainian diaspora and mainland Ukraine with a view to establishing a single information and the communication field. The general characteristics of Ukrainian political emigration typology of its formations, their information and communication agencies and represented historiographical heritage diaspora researchers on the national liberation movement were offered.
