The thesis traced the evolution of reading and its culture, as well as corresponding concepts. The main subjects of reading culture formation of Ukraine book with the help of social and communicative technologies were defined and characterized, such as: UNESCO, the International Publishers Association, the International Federation of Booksellers, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Library Association, libraries, educational institutions, book shops, publishing companies, publishing organizations, media holding companies, editorships of mass media, public organizations.
