Chorna L. Ideal as a sociocultural phenomenon in discourse of the Modern and Postmodern

The thesis reveals the potential of Ideal as a sociocultural phenomenon. The comparative analysis of pre-modern, modern and postmodern paradigms of Ideal functioning is conducted. It is formulated the concept of the Ideal as a sociocultural phenomenon in the synthesized sphere of anthropological, semiological and visual turn of Postmodern. There is grounded that man existence in the modern sociocultural space is an adaptation to cultural practices that create a new image and ideals of a man. Modern mythologization of Ideal is described, which is converted to mythodesign and actualizes the understanding of Ideal as a simulacrum. The role of revolution and utopia as modern forms of practical implementation of social ideal is specified. The peculiarities of communist ideal and reasons of its destruction as reduced religious ideal are revealed. Functioning of the communist ideal is investigated in the context of its existence as a parade of attractions. There are described the prognostic abilities of an Ideal as a sociocultural phenomenon.
