Kornieiev V. Socio-Communication Approach in the Ukrainian Science.

The work is dedicated to the systematic and comprehensive study of socio-communication approach as a main methodology of research of social processes and phenomena in terms of a new scientific speciality 27.00.00 - "Social communications". On the basis of analysis of scientific papers, where the important problems of socio-communication science for the period of 2008 - 2015 are solved, the thesis defines the essence and specificity of socio-communication approach; it grounds the methodology and clarifies the relevance and efficiency of use of certain methods of scientific knowledge in terms of the defined approach. The main result of the work is qualification of socio-communication approach as a special methodology of scientific research in the science on social communication, justification of compulsory use of this approach by the scientists, identification of trends and prospects of research practices in the field.
