Essay

The dissertation presents a new approach to solving a problem related to the formation of a creative personality of a senior preschooler in out-of-school education and training. It lies in substantiation of the theoretical and methodological principles favoring this process as well as in devising and testing the experimental model with an appropriate technological support.Having analyzed the researchers' views on the problem of a creative personality, the author substantiates the theoretical and methodological principles of out-of-school education and training aimed at senior preschool children's creative development. The term "creative personality of a senior preschooler" means a person able to actualize his (her) creativity for achieving the results in creative activities due to the targeted impact of external factors. The process of the creative personality formation in extracurricular educational institution covers a specific interaction of educational process, environment and polysubject itself (child-parents-educators).The leading psychological and pedagogical determinants of the formation of a creative personality of a senior preschooler are defined. The author designs his conception of the formation of a creative personality of a senior preschooler.The system of forming a creative personality of a senior preschooler in extracurricular educational institution is modelled. The model comprises a set of structural and functional components that favor the formation of a creative personality of a senior preschooler. The implementation of the system of forming a creative personality of a senior preschooler in extracurricular educational institution is experimentally verified and proved to be effective.
