The dissertation is based on a wide range of archived and published sources taken into account the existing of theoretical scientific knowledge. The socio-demographic changes and national-cultural life of the Jewish population of Podillya during the 40-ies of the 20th century - beginning of 21st century has been studiedin thescientificwork. The author examines the history of the Jewish national minority in the 1940-s - the beginning of the 21st century as a component of the objective regional history of the region in this specified period. The Jewish community in the region remained positive dynamics of demographic growth through to the beginning of the German-Soviet War of the 1941-1945 years, but national culture experienced Sovietization, which was aimed at the assimilation of the Jewish population.
