Zakharkevych O. Development of scientific fundamentals to ensure the flexibility of clothing design using expert systems

The objective of the study is the process of ensuring the flexibility of clothing design by using expert systems. The aim of the study is the development of scientific fundamentals to ensure the flexibility of clothing design in order to increase the competitiveness of the products by using the expert systems. The methods of the research are as follows: cluster analysis and factor analysis, morphologic analysis, methods to solve equations and systems of linear equations, simulation methods, and the method of 3D-design of virtual models. The problem of developing the scientific fundamentals of flexibility of clothing design process was solved based on the heuristic ways of typical design of typological clothing ranges by using expert systems when rapid change in design circumstances occurs. The field of application is the clothing industry.
