Essay

Object – the process of professional training of future social teachers in higher educational establishments; the aim – to scientifically substantiate and experimentally test the system of professional training of future social teachers for sustainable development of social groups, to work out and experimentally test the teaching and support materials providing for the implementation of the given system; methods – theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty – the research is the first to substantiate the relevance and potential of the conception of sustainable development for Social Pedagogy as a science, taking into account the mission of social teachers the necessity of special training of future social teachers for sustainable development of social groups as an essential condition of stable functioning and progressive development of society is proved; the essence of the concepts “sustainable development of a social group”, “future social teachers’ training for sustainable development of social groups”, “future social teacher’s readiness for sustainable development of social groups” is specified; the content of structural components of future social teacher’s readiness for sustainable development of social groups is analysed; the content, forms and methods of future social sphere specialists’ training oriented at sustainable development of social groups are researched; results – the theoretical and practical data of the research have allowed to work out the recommendations on the organization of the process of future social teachers’ training for the sustainable development of social groups presented in the monograph “Future Social Teachers’ Training for Sustainable Development of Social Groups”, in the collective monographs “Future Specialist’s Creative Potential Development”, “Foundations of Modern Pedagogy”, “Modernization Trends of Social and Pedagogical System of Future Specialists’ Training in Universities”; the programme and teaching support materials of the scientifically substantiated system of professional training of future social teachers’ training for the sustainable development of social groups have been worked out and experimentally tested (the teaching materials on the teaching course “Methods of Organization of Social Work with Different Social Groups”, the specialized course “Social and Pedagogical Activities Directed at Sustainable Development of Social Groups”, the programmes of activities of out of class group "Volunteer" and "Theatre-studio of Socio-Pedagogical Clowns", tasks for various types of practice aimed at future specialists’ acquisition of the skills and experience of designing and implementing the system of work oriented at sustainable development of various social groups, taking into account the specific characteristics of different of them) ; field – pedagogy.
