The object – the professional training of future biology teachers. The subject – the research is the content, methods, forms and means of training future biology teachers for environmental and pedagogical activity In the dissertation research, a theoretical generalization of new approaches to the solution of the actual problem of professional training of future biology teachers by substantiating the theoretical foundations of their readiness for environmental and pedagogical activity, the development and experimental verification of an appropriate methodological system, including goals, objectives, content, methods and methodological methods, means and forms of training, forms and types of control. The essence and structure of the readiness of future teachers of biology for environmental and pedagogical activity in general educational institutions is determined, the components of which are motivational, value, content, activity, emotional-volitional. The educational and methodological set for the disciplines "Organization of Ecological and Pedagogical Activity", "Technologies of Environmental Education and Upbringing", "Methodology of Ecological Education" has been developed and introduced into the training of future teachers of biology.
