Essay

The dissertation provides insight into the social – philosophy research of the space of fashion in the great variety of its subspaces. Genesis and dynamic of modern space of fashion are considered by the examples of social practices of lifestyle, encoding and decoding the image of an individual, consumption, image creation and so on. The thesis analyzes the social-philosophical senses of such concepts as “social space”, “performative”, “social time”. The author justifies the space-performative fashion conception based on the interdisciplinary methodology, whereof the fashion is represented in the role of social topos, which then transforms into different forms of public relations and practices.
