In the dissertation, the theoretical generalization and scholarly solution of the problem of social pedagogical work with children from marginalized families in Poland was first implemented. The theoretical and methodological principles of social pedagogical work with marginal families in the educational environment of the Republic of Poland, based on the poly-scientific approach with the use of philosophical, sociological, pedagogical and psychological contexts, are formulated.The essence of the key concepts of the research is specified: “social work with children from marginalized families”; “marginal family”; “children from marginalized families”.
The concept of social pedagogical work with marginal families, based on methodological, theoretical and technological levels, was developed. In order to improve the socio-pedagogical work, the project of the structure of social and pedagogical work with marginalized families in the Republic of Poland is substantiated, which contains a set of principles (individual subjugation, trusting relations with the marginal family, respect for the norms and values of the marginal family) and educational and educational functions (preventive, corrective, consulting, cognitive, value-oriented, educational, vocational, artistic and aesthetic, socially oriented, social adaptation, social rehabilitation). Another component of the structure is the mediation and organizational functions that include social and legal assistance, medical and social, material, social and pedagogical, social and psychological assistance. Stages of social and pedagogical work in the structure: acquaintance, entering into a marginal family, training, organization of project activity, adoption and implementation of the project by the marginal family, evaluation of the results.The state of the methodical system of social-pedagogical work with children from marginalized families in the institutional environments of Poland is determined. The project of social and educational environment for children from marginalized families is substantiated, developed and tested.It was found out that the formation and development of social pedagogical work with children from marginal families has been carried out through: creation of a network of institutions and social services for various target groups of children; development and implementation of various preventive forms of work that involve members of society in solving the problem of marginalization on the local level. The priority ways of implementing research results in the European educational space, in particular in Ukraine, are determined.
