Essay

The theoretical justification and the experimental study of the problem of mathematical development of preschool age children is carried out in the thesis. The main approaches to the solution of this problem in modern pedagogical science are defined. The essence of the concepts "mathematical development", "logical and mathematical competence" concerning children of preschool age is specified. Are systematized criteria and diagnostic tools of assessment of system effectiveness of mathematical development of preschool age children in institutions of preschool education which contain criteria of complex assessment of a condition of mathematical development (the active environment of touch and informative space of preschool education establishment, the level of mathematical development of preschool age children, readiness of personnel capacity of institution of preschool education for realization of problems of mathematical development of children; methodical ensuring mathematical development of preschool age children) and criteria of mathematical development of preschool age children (cognitive, emotional and valuable, operational) with the corresponding indicators and its levels (high, sufficient, average and low). Experimental check is carried out and the efficiency of the methodical construct of a system of mathematical development of preschool age children in institutions of preschool education in unity of target, organizational, diagnostic, didactic and technological modules and pedagogical conditions of its realization is proved.
