Polova Z. Theoretical and experimental substantiation of composition and technology of medicinal preparations with antimicrobial effect for use in veterinary medicine

The dissertation is devoted to theoretical and experimental substantiation of the composition and technology of the original domestic medicinal preparations (MP) with antimicrobial action for use in veterinary medicine, in particular antimicrobial solution for intracisternal administration (IA) for the treatment of subclinical mastitis (SM) in cattle; the antimicrobial cream for prophylaxis of mastitis and hygienic care for udder, and antiseptic solution for treatment of udder in cattle in the form of spray. The methodological principles for the development of metal citrates containing veterinary preparations (VP) that can be used for the development of veterinary MPs industrial technology in liquid and semisolid dosage forms were developed. The choice of technological processes for industrial production of a sterile solution for IA «Argocid» in ampoules and vials; a cream for skin application «Argocid K»; a spray «Argocid-mid» was experimentally developed and substantiated. A project of quality control techniques and technological procedures for veterinary preparations were developed. The rational types of package were offered, storage conditions and shelf life of the medicinal preparations were determined. The experimental researches results of study pharmacological activity and safety of developed VP were generalized.
