Essay

The theoretical underpinning and scientific solution of the problem of organizing non-formal education of future social teachers in Ukraine are implemented in the dissertation for the first time. A theoretical and methodological analysis of organizing non-formal education of student youth on the general philosophical, general scientific, concrete-scientific and special-methodological levels is conducted. The essence and characterological features of basic concepts are defined including «non-formal education», «organizing non-formal education». A criterion-indicator system for evaluating the effectiveness of organizing non-formal education of future social teachers is created. The social and pedagogical content of organizing non-formal education is revealed as a sphere of scientific knowledge and a method of pedagogical and social practice; scientific and methodic tools for organizing non-formal education of future social teachers are designed. The conceptual foundations and social and pedagogical conditions of organization of non-formal education of future social pedagogue are substantiated. The essence and structure of professional competence of future social teachers are specified; the functions of non-formal education of future specialists in the area of civil, professional and personal development are defined.
